SPECIAL B Malt is a very dark Crystal Malt (about 140-150L), typically Belgian in origin, which is uesd to add flavours like: very dark caramel, raisin or plum. It is the speciality grain that makes Belgian Abbey Ales taste a little bit raisin-like, and Dubbels taste pruny.
