A dark ruby strong ale, with a gravity of the Milds of yesteryear; a good balance of fruit and hops, leading to a pleasant lingering hops and malt finish.
This recipe is based on the latest edition of Graham Wheeler's book, "Brew your own British Real Ales" and is the 23 litre version.
