A warm rounded, yet surprisingly delicate pale strong beer from Ringwood brewery in Hampshire. Luscious balance of grain and hop in the mouth. Bittersweet finish with pronounced hop aftertaste.
 
A recipe pack containing all the ingredients to make a clone, all grain version of Ringwood Old Thumper,  found in Graham Wheeler's Brew your own Beer book and is a 23 litre version.

Maris Otter Malt 5160g
Torrefied Wheat 345g
Crystal malt 230g
Chocolate Malt 35g
Please note all grains come crushed
 
41g Challenger hops Start of boil
14g  EKG hops Last 10 mins boil
8g EKG hops Post-boil 

1 x Protafloc last 15 mins of Boil
1 pack of S-04 yeast
